5 tips to healthy eating for the busiest Moms.
Busy Moms, Eat healthy.

As a Homeschool Mom, Fitness & Nutrition Coach, and also a support to my husband's business, you can imagine why this topic is so important to me and many busy Moms across the globe, in order to keep up with our strength and energy throughout the day.
I have had the opportunity for the last 8 years of educating and leading many of my clients in person and virtually with their fitness and nutrition journey back to a healthy lifestyle.
In many cases what we discovered was the most successful clients were the ones that were open to creating a plan, being accountable to it and executing the plan consistently.
I have had my own personal struggles and food addictions throughout the years until I made up my mind I was sick and tired of feeling and looking the way I did at 250 lbs. in the year 2000 after my 1st baby, and yo-yo dieting, (Read more of my story in About Me).
I have since had 2 more babies, skip to 22 years later and have lost 100 lbs.!!!
Thanks be to God because without His help I could not have done it!
And now I want to share my best 5 Tips with you in hopes that you can feel and be the best version of you that you were created and designed to be!
Tip #1 -Grocery pickup or delivery.
Decide what you are going to make so you can grab and go and then order it for pick up or delivery, this will save you more time and energy than having to shop for an hour with kids and forget what you are shopping for.
Tip #2 - Plan your grab and gos.
Plan what healthy meals on the run will look like through the week-salad, sandwiches, wraps, fresh fruits, veggies, waters, etc. Think easy, healthy, and doable if commuting.
Tip #3 - Quick Snacks
As a busy Mom myself, I try to get as many raw fruits and veggies in as possible. Think carrots and ranch, celery and peanut butter, strawberries and blueberries, watermelon, apple, peach, etc. And have them in sandwhich bags ready to grab for the week.
Tip #4 -Portion is key
As a Health and Fitness Coach, I will tell you that portion control is vital to your health. And if you are trying to gain/lose weight it is a must. Measure everything and log your food to see how many calories, macros you are consuming daily. I like using My Fitness Pal, https://www.myfitnesspal.com/ it has personally helped me stay on track and kept many of my clients accountable as we set limits and goals together.
Tip #5 - Don't Quit
Consistency is key to being healthy, so Don't Quit on your best health ever! You are the one that sometimes holds everything together, as Moms we wear a lot of hats that many do not even see,or even go unnoticed. We need to be full of energy and strength to care for our loved ones, and that can't happen if we don't first take care of our temples, right! You are important and must take time to do what is vital to your health and fitness, everyday.
Everyday is not Perfect
Everyday may not be perfect, on your food journal, meal prepping, daily fitness journey, etc. And that is ok, we are human but when you make your health important(as it should be),you will feel better, live better, and have a brighter outlook in life and that ultimate picture of physical, mental, and emotional health can prevent your future from other costly health complications down the road. And YOU ARE WORTH IT!
Blessings,
Coach Lisa
